1. All reported specification values are nominal. 2. The sensible effectiveness is calculated based on an adaptation of in-house testing according to AHRI Standard 1061 (2018) when PM2.5 (~1.2 L/s) and MERV4 (~2.5 L/s) filters were used in the supply and exhaust vents. 3. This is the maximum air flow rate of a unit at 12V DC. The normal and boost flow rates on the supply and exhaust sides of current units can be independently adjusted by using the fan controllers. 4. The power measurements represent the minimum controllable level of an operating unit and exclude legacy variants that do not have dedicated fan controllers. The nominal power that is consumed by a unit can reach 6 W depending on the specific combination of supply and exhaust fans. 5. The recommended indoor conditions for the operation of the units are as per the winter and summer comfort zones that are prescribed in ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 55 – 2010. 6. Units may be shipped with 5V (legacy), 9V, or 12V DC adapters. 7. Current MINI units feature four ports which can be fully ducted whereas legacy units may have only two ports. 8. It is recommended to duct the four ports of the unit in order to keep the sound level at or below 43 dB.
In terms of ASHRAE Standard 52.2, G2 is approximately rated to MERV4 whereas G4 corresponds to the MERV7 filtration level. In accordance with EN 779 and ISO 16890, G4 filters can capture 60%-85% of particles that are within 0.3 to 10 microns whereas G2 filters can trap the same size of particles at an efficiency of 30%-50%. On the other hand, our HEPA filters, which are based on EN 1822, can trap at least 99.5% of most penetrating particle sizes that are below 2.5 microns. * *
