PRINCIPLE
We present a revolutionary patent-pending 2-IN-1 unit which is a room air purifier and personal breeze machine.
The cleaning loop in the unit uses a HEPA filter to effectively remove airborne particulates at relatively low velocities whereas the projection loop passes air at higher velocities through a MERV-rated filter. The synergy of air cleaning and projection in the 2-IN-1 unit makes it superior to other devices because it can project clean air for circulation and personal cooling. Importantly, the laminar air streams that emanate from the unit are continuously generated by a robust brushless direct current axial fan.

A little bit pricey but the lifetime warranty is bold and reassuring in case there are issues. I had a CLIMATE heat recovery unit and decided to try the new air purifer. Its been good so far for my downtown Abbotsford office.

1. All reported specification values are nominal. 2. The air flow capacity represents the maximum air flow rate of the fan at 12V DC. 3. The optimal cooling distance represents perceptible air flow on a parallel plane from the outlet vent of the unit which is most effective within 1 m. Cooling is achieved by convection on the skin. 4. The reported sound level is for the normal mode of an operating unit at ~3 m from the inlet vent that is adjacent to the control button. The power that is consumed by a unit at the normal mode can reach or exceed 3 W depending on the specific combination of supply and exhaust fans. 5. The recommended indoor conditions of the unit are the winter and summer comfort zones that are prescribed in ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 55 – 2010.
In terms of ASHRAE Standard 52.2, G2 is approximately rated to MERV4 whereas G4 corresponds to the MERV7 filtration level. In accordance with EN 779 and ISO 16890, G4 filters can capture 60%-85% of particles that are within 0.3 to 10 microns whereas G2 filters can trap the same size of particles at an efficiency of 30%-50%. On the other hand, our HEPA filters, which are based on EN 1822, can trap at least 99.5% of most penetrating particle sizes that are below 2.5 microns. * *
