CLIMATE has been meticulously optimized for thermal, flow, and acoustic performance since its commissioning.

PRINCIPLE
CLIMATE utilizes dual high-efficiency tube-axial fans and a compressed tube for thermal energy (heat) exchange between supply and exhaust air streams to ventilate a wide range of spaces from single rooms and open concept spaces to small houses throughout the year. Additionally, CLIMATE can accommodate a G2 (MERV4) filter, optional G4 (MERV7) filter, or optional Inline Filter Box with a HEPA filter to purify the outdoor air that is supplied to your space.
Stale air is “exhaled” through a compressed tube whereas fresh air is “inhaled” through the shell side of the air-to-air exchanger. Importantly, thermal energy (heat) exchange between the fresh and stale air streams occurs via the walls of the compressed tube.

MULTI-SPEED CONTROL

Normal | Configuration
You can precisely tune the speed of a fan by adjusting the default controller setting.
Boost | Control
Use the inbuilt boost buttons OR achieve external control via switches, smart plugs & humidity controllers.
The unit features two variants.
Single Speed
This variant runs at a fixed speed at the output voltage of the AC-to-DC adapter or DC power source.
Multi Speed
This variant features two speeds.
Normal: This is the default mode of the unit once it has been powered, and can be adjusted if needed.
Boost: Upon activation, the unit operates in this mode at a higher flow rate than the Normal mode as further expatiated in the data sheet.

1. All reported specification values are nominal. 2. This is the maximum exhaust air flow rate of a unit at 12V DC. The normal and boost flow rates on the supply and exhaust sides of current units can be independently adjusted by using the fan controllers. 3. The power measurements represent the minimum controllable level of an operating unit and exclude legacy variants that do not have dedicated fan controllers. The nominal power that is consumed by a unit can reach 6 W depending on the specific combination of supply and exhaust fans. 4. The recommended indoor conditions for the operation of the units are as per the winter and summer comfort zones that are prescribed in ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 55 – 2010. 5. Units may be shipped with 5V (legacy), 9V, or 12V DC adapters.
In terms of ASHRAE Standard 52.2, G2 is approximately rated to MERV4 whereas G4 corresponds to the MERV7 filtration level. In accordance with EN 779 and ISO 16890, G4 filters can capture 60%-85% of particles that are within 0.3 to 10 microns whereas G2 filters can trap the same size of particles at an efficiency of 30%-50%. On the other hand, our HEPA filters, which are based on EN 1822, can trap at least 99.5% of most penetrating particle sizes that are below 2.5 microns. * *
